July 15 (Bloomberg) -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd., India's largest producer of the metal, raised prices of zinc and lead starting on July 14.
The price of zinc was increased by 1,900 rupees to 160,900 ($3,981) a metric ton. Lead prices were raised by 1,100 rupees to 134,400 rupees a ton, the Udaipur-based company said in an e- mailed statement, without giving a reason.
The company last raised zinc prices on July 7 and lead prices on July 12.
